The Colorado Community Band Association is not only diverse in its membership but in its type of music it plays and the venues it performs in. Thanks to the varied tastes and higher level of proficiency of the musicians, the performances this year include music generally more difficult than expected from the usual “community band”. Plus the ensembles can vary from entertaining to just as professional. We are definitely lucky to have such a great group! Thus, the 2007-2008 Season holds a unique opportunity for everyone to enjoy some really “Serious Music and Serious Fun”!
(Despite the high quality of our musicians and their musicianship we are still a “COMMUNITY” band so we make all our performances accessible to everyone. We never “price-out” anyone by charging high prices. We strongly believe that a “community band” should “serve” the community. So all our performances are either free, for charitable purposes or reasonable priced.) |
